MaxPrint
The Isi MaxPrint Digital Front End (DFE) provides a suite of tools and features that are capable of generating high quality output print, for use with Digital Label, Packaging and Textile production devices.
The solution provides a range of core technologies including Raster image processing, Screening, using proprietary variable size dot technology and fast, advanced colour management, calibration and profile generation.

Consistent Quality. Intelligent Workflow
In addition, functions such as colour balancing across multiple printheads, along with advanced masking strategies for head stitching and uneven adjustment, enable the production of high-quality prints with superior tonal consistency across the web.
MaxPrint’s unique ability to faithfully replicate original artwork is driven by its analytical engine, which enables crisp, clear reproduction of fine line art and text at sizes as small as 2pt.
Job submission and management are handled through multiple hot folders, streamlining the workflow and reducing the need for operator intervention. By utilising multiple processor cores and platforms, MaxPrint delivers fast and efficient data interpretation.
Using the same DFE across a range of digital presses offers significant productivity and workflow advantages. The raster data produced by MaxPrint is compatible with a wide range of printhead manufacturers, including Epson, Fuji, Kyocera, and Ricoh.
Streamlined Calibration
Colour profiling is no longer a production bottleneck thanks to MaxPrint’s Streamline Colour Calibration process, which is designed to deliver fast, efficient, and highly accurate colour profiling.
Drawing on over 30 years of inkjet-specific screening and colour management expertise, MaxPrint produces truly accurate digital press profiles. The Streamline Calibration process has been developed to support digital press components from a wide range of inkjet manufacturers.
Key influencing elements—including printheads, controller cards, inks, and media—are fully accounted for, alongside variables such as dot size variation, multiple resolutions, and single- or multi-pass printing modes.
Each calibrated file is precisely optimised for its individual press configuration, delivering press-ready screened data that produces exceptionally crisp, razor-sharp text, even at the smallest point sizes.

Uneven Color Adjustment
MaxPrint is able to eliminate common printing artefacts such as banding and striping. By analysing the density capability of each individual nozzle, the software generates dynamic correction masks that balance printhead density across the web.
The result is a visually flat, uniform, and flawless print surface.
Crucially, all of these functions are performed on the host computer, with no requirement for remote access or third-party intervention, delivering a highly efficient and time-saving solution.
Variable Data Processing
MaxPrint has its own, integrated, Variable Data tool-set which allows users to create templates and import databases.
The VDP function supports all common text formats and encodings, whilst providing users with the ability to generate variable elements such as Bar/ QR codes, text, serial numbers and images.
Multi Colour Shade
Matching brand colours is critical, and MaxPrint makes the entire process effortless. The Multi Colour Shade feature enables users to quickly and efficiently calibrate to common colour systems such as Pantone, SWOP, DIC, Toyo, HKS, or bespoke swatch colours.
It fully utilises the extended colour gamut made possible by the inclusion of Orange, Green, and Violet inks found on modern digital printers and presses. In doing so, Multi Colour Shade delivers over a 98% colour match to the Pantone Colour Library.
